In our library, we hold over 20,000 circulating items. This includes large print, Biographies, Fiction and non-fiction materials, and magazines. Plus, we have a large collection of puzzles and board games. The library includes things like adult/children snowshoes, adventure backpack kits, and a NEW seed library with garden tools.

Billings Farm & Museum

This pass allows free general admission to the farm and museum for up to 4 people per visit, ages 3 and up.
The pass must be picked up at the library.
Returned within 24 hours.
NH State Parks
State park passes allow free admission for two adults and four children. This pass is not accepted at Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, the Flume Gorge, Hampton Beach State Park-South Beach, Wallis Sands or for metered parking. The pass may not be used for camping fees. **Please contact park to be certain of open hours or special events that may be occurring.**

This single-day pass admits up to 2 adults and accompanying children under age 18.
Not valid for programs or events for which an additional fee applies, such as Fairy Festival, Hay Day, or Christmas at The Fells.

Browse our collection of over 20,000 physical items. Including fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi, mystery, biographies, large print, and more! Plus, we added a collection of spicy books for our monthly book club.
We also have access to many eBooks, and we offer Kanapy and Libby.
Our children's collection includes baby board books, picture books, and tactile books. We have several Discovery Kits and a New Things that Go bag. Our teens have fiction, graphic novels, and non-fiction materials.

Teen Space
In 2024, thanks to a generous donation from the family of Phil Prouty, the Silsby Free Public Library's Teen Space was created. Featuring a cozy couch, floor cushions, a desk, and craft supplies, the Teen Space has become a favorite hangout for tweens and teens after school and during the summer.

A special place created just for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers, the children's room is always buzzing with fun! From Mommy & Me Lap Time to Toddler Time and Story Hour, there's always something to keep the littlest library patrons busy.
The thoughtfully curated collection of books encourages early childhood literacy and age-appropriate activities keep little minds engaged and curious.
